The PPA Ad-Hoc Committee on Social and Community Psychiatry (SCP) is pleased to launch its webinar series to share current developments, emerging perspectives, and ongoing initiatives in Social and Community Psychiatry and related fields.
For our inaugural session, we are honored to welcome distinguished speakers who will discuss the evolution and current landscape of psychosocial disaster response in both the Philippine and international settings:
* Dr. Lourdes Ignacio, Past President of the World Association for Psychosocial Rehabilitation
* Dr. Roberto Capistrano, Chair of the PPA Committee on PRRCD
* Prof. Mohan Isaac, University of Western Australia
Together, they will share their insights on the foundations, present realities, and recent developments in disaster mental health and psychosocial response.
Dr. Noel Reyes of the National Center for Mental Health (NCMH) will serve as reactor for the session and provide integrative reflections on the discussions.
